Pyrolysis Process Analysis of Polyimide at High Temperature Based on Molecular Dynamics Simulation
Polyimide(PI), as a high-performance material, has garnered significant attention due to its exceptional high-temperature resistance and insulation properties. and has been widely applied in fields such as electrical insulation, microelectronics, water conservancy, and power. However, PI undergoes pyrolysis at high temperatures, generating gases such as CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> and CN-, which may lead to insulation failure and operational safety hazards in electrical equipment. The pyrolysis behavior of PI under high-temperature conditions and its impact on the safe operation of electrical equipment remains a challenge that requires in-depth research. This study aims to reveal the pyrolysis mechanism of PI under high-temperature conditions and its influence on insulation failure through molecular dynamics simulations, thereby providing a deeper understanding of the pyrolysis mechanism of PI under high temperatures. This knowledge will guide the enhancement of the reliability and safety of power equipment.
