The data was collected by distributing a structured questionnaire to 50 respondents. It has been found that majority of them preferred to invest their savings in fixed deposits with banks for the safety of a volatile future followed by investing in gold. The major impact on savings is due to the level of income which has considerably increased in the last decade.
