Graphitic carbon cage structure encapsulating cobalt nanoparticles in nitrogen-doped biomass-derived carbon materials enables high-performance sodium–sulfur batteries
A biomass-derived porous carbon host, PN-1M-Co, fabricated from waste pine nut shells and K 3 [Co(CN) 6 ], possesses a graphitic cage structure that mitigates volume expansion, suppresses the shuttle effect, and promotes rapid one-step sulfur conversion.
