Innovative housing solutions: proposal for fast and affordable construction in emergency situations.

The growing demand for fast and affordable building solutions for vulnerable populations or those affected by disasters presents an ongoing challenge. This study proposes a low-cost construction model characterized by rapid execution and adequate technical performance to address emergency housing needs. The proposed housing unit employs alternative materials selected for their economic feasibility and compatibility with conventional construction methods. The methodology includes the development of the necessary design documents and a detailed analysis of material and labor costs. The results indicate that the proposed construction model is an efficient and cost-effective solution for emergency scenarios. This study contributes to the adoption of viable construction alternatives, promoting safe and affordable housing while maintaining satisfactory quality standards.
