COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE SLEEPERS AND TRADITIONAL SLEEPERS
Composite sleepers, carbon fiber, mechanical properties, impact resistance, polymer composites. This study focuses on the development of new types of composite railway sleepers based on carbon fiber and the analysis of their mechanical properties. Traditional sleepers are typically made of wood, concrete, or polymer composites without carbon reinforcement and often have limitations in durability and performance. The study also emphasizes the potential industrial application of such reinforced sleepers, highlighting their advantages in terms of service life, reduced maintenance costs, and suitability for modern high-speed railway systems
