Defect‐Driven Reconstruction of Bismuth Nanoflowers via Precursor Engineering for Highly Efficient CO2‐to‐Formate Electrochemical Reduction
CO2 Reduction In article number 2500184, Shunsuke Yagi and co-workers synthesized a defect-engineered Bi nanoflower catalyst through a unique structural transformation and electrochemical reconstruction strategy. It exhibits greater than 90% Faradaic efficiency for CO2 electroreduction to formate with long-term stability. This study reveals how precursor-derived defects boost catalytic activity through structural reconstruction, offering new insights into the design of CO2 electroreduction catalysts.
