Multi‐Omics Analysis by Machine Learning Identified Lysophosphatidic Acid as a Biomarker and Therapeutic Target for Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (Adv. Sci. 34/2024)
The authors use the Chinese traditional allusion "extracting the firewood from under the cauldron" to illustrate a strategy for controlling the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV).Through the application of multi-omics and machine learning, lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) was discovered as a vital element for PRRSV proliferation.By eliminating LPA, it could be possible to effectively control PRRSV infection.
