Infrared‐Transparent Semiconductor Membranes for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding of Millimeter Waves (Adv. Mater. Technol. 19/2024)
Infrared-Transparent Semiconductor Membranes In article number 2401013, Emma J. Renteria, Francesca Cavallo, and co-workers show that single-crystalline semiconductor membranes can act as shields of millimeter waves while allowing transmission of infrared radiation. These membranes can be used to protect infrared sources and detectors from the harmful effects of radio waves suitable for 5G and 6G communications.
