Reversible Solar Heating and Radiative Cooling Devices via Mechanically Guided Assembly of 3D Macro/Microstructures (Adv. Mater. 39/2024)
Dual-Mode Solar Heating and Radiative Cooling Devices In article number 2400930, Heon Lee, Bong Jae Lee, Bong Hoon Kim, and co-workers have developed dual-mode thermal management devices via mechanically guided assembly. These devices feature dual-mode actuation under uniaxial strain, switching between heating (59.5 °C) and cooling (−11.9 °C), and present changes in optical properties based on the angle of 3D structures, as well as the temperatures on skin, glass, steel, aluminum, copper, and polyimide.
