PROFESSIONALISMS AND NOMENCLATURE OF IN THE POLICE LEXICON OF THE MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Introduction. The police sector, like any other professional sector, has its own specific vocabulary and related issues. In particular, police terminology is at the stage of studying general features, establishing differences in the interpretation of units, and codifying them. The distinctionbetween the concepts of ‘term’, ‘nomen’ and ‘professionalism’ is an important aspect of studying anyterminology. Our study provides a comprehensive consideration of these categories in the context of police activity. Such an approach will facilitate the unification of police terms, professional communication, legal regulation and educational and scientific support of the activities of the National Police.
