Species Diversity of Macrofungi from Aravalli Mountain Range Forest of Rajasthan
The present study revealed exploration and documentation of macrofungal diversity of the Aravalli Mountain Range of Rajasthan state of wild life sanctuaries viz., Mount Abu wildlife sanctuary, Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary and The Sitamata wildlife sanctuary.Combination of molecular characteristics (ITS-5.8Sgene sequences) and morphological traits (macroscopic and microscopic features), basidiocarp specimens designated 77 species comprised 58 genera belonging to 32 family.Presence of climatic factors with vegetation types are the potential reasons of distribution of macrofungi throughout the Aravalli range forest.Authenticity of different macrofungi species with their habitat, occurrences, ecological significances, etheno-mycological importance were highlighted ecosystem stability and human welfare purposes.
