Advancing Functional Materials: Sr‐Doped CuO Nanostructures as a Promising Candidate for Multifaceted Applications

This research aims to enhance functional materials and explore novel approaches to address pressing modern‐day problems. The systematic investigation involves the synthesis of Sr‐doped CuO nanostructures through tailored fabrication methods, ensuring control over their size, shape, and composition. X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV‐Vis spectroscopy are employed to analyze the structural, morphological, and optical properties of Sr‐doped CuO nanostructures. The influence of Sr doping on the material’s properties is examined, revealing the effects of dopant concentration on the material’s overall outlook. The pure metal oxide and Sr‐doped CuO samples had mean particle sizes of 0.68 μm (CO), 0.48 μm (CS‐1), 0.70 μm (CS‐2), and 1 μm (CS‐3), respectively. The bandgap values were found to be 4.10, 3.97, 4.12, and 4.08 eV, respectively. The findings of this study demonstrate the tremendous potential of Sr‐doped CuO nanostructures as a versatile material with applications in various fields, such as civil, chemical, biomedical, and materials engineering. By emphasizing the importance of dopant concentration and material qualities, this study progresses functional materials and lays the foundation for the development of innovative solutions to today’s urgent difficulties in industries and applications.
