The present work was carried out with the objective of analyzing an alternative for implementing video monitoring in public security agents. The use of cameras by public security agents has become a crucial tool for the modernization and effectiveness of security services, offering a valuable means of collecting evidence during investigations, which can speed up judicial processes and increase the resolution rate of cases crimes. In summary, incorporating surveillance into the routine of public security agents is an effective strategy to strengthen security and social justice. This technology not only improves the responsiveness and transparency of operations, but also serves as a powerful deterrent against crime, promoting safer and more harmonious coexistence in society. The work was developed using a literature review based on bibliographical research, through research on websites, doctrines, articles and legislation, analyzing the understanding and consequences on the topic.
