ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN PARENTERAL DRUG MANUFACTURING AND DEVELOPMENT

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming pharmaceutical manufacturing by enhancing efficiency, precision, and quality. In parenteral drug manufacturing, where sterility, safety, and regulatory compliance are critical, AI plays a vital role in optimizing processes and minimizing human error. AI-driven technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, and predictive analytics support real-time monitoring of critical parameters, early detection of deviations, and automation of analytical operations. These tools improve process control in formulation, filling, sealing, and packaging while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Furthermore, AI aids in predictive maintenance of equipment, advanced quality assurance, and reduced production costs. By integrating AI with robotics and continuous manufacturing systems, pharmaceutical industries can achieve higher consistency, scalability, and patient safety. Thus, AI stands as a powerful enabler in advancing the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of parental drug manufacturing.
