GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE PREVENTION OF ITS NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES

The article examines the concept of the “life indicators of the biosphere” as an integral and multidimensional category reflecting the natural, biological, physical, chemical, geological, and energetic balance of the Earth’s ecosystem. Based on the ideas of Professor H.Yu. Salomova, the author analyzes how anthropogenic factors affect ecological equilibrium and the natural limits of the biosphere. Through dialectical and synergistic methodologies, the study emphasizes that environmental degradation—particularly large-scale deforestation and the excessive emission of greenhouse gases such as CO₂, CH₄, and N₂O—has disrupted the biosphere’s vital indicators, accelerating global climate change. The article argues that oxygen and carbon dioxide levels represent the most sensitive ecological parameters of the biosphere. It concludes that adherence to natural ecological laws, environmental education, and redirection of global financial resources from destructive sectors (war, alcohol, tobacco) toward restoring nature are key to sustainable coexistence between humanity and the biosphere.
