What Burns out Young Generations? Burnout and Countermeasure Methods and Practices: The Perspective of Generation Y and Z Employees, Part II

The purpose of this paper is to identify burnout countermeasure methods and practices adopted by employees from young generations –Generations Y and Z, and to identify practices which in the area of counteracting burnout are used by Polish organisations in the opinion of that group of employees. The paper presents results of quantitative research carried out on a sample of 139 respondents who were representatives of various professions and industries. The research was conducted using the diagnostic survey method and the CAWI technique. In order to study correlations between variables, selected statistical tests and coefficients were used (Mann-Whitney U test, Pearson’s Chi-square test of independence, Cramer’s V correlation coefficient). The results obtained indicate a significant gap in the building and development of comprehensive programmes to prevent burnout among employees from young generations.
