INVESTIGATING HEAT TRANSFER EFFICIENCY IN PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS WITH HYBRIDNANOFLUIDS
Plate heat exchangers (PHE) were initially used commercially and have since been used extensively in many industrial applications. Improving PHEs' thermal-hydraulic performance is essential for energy conversion and system economy enhancement by reducing capital expenditure. Using heat transfer (HT) enhancement techniques or adjusting the design of a PHEis two ways to increase its efficiency. The goal of this research is to use hybridAluminum oxide with Magnesium oxide (Al2O3-MgO) nano fluids to increase the HT efficiency of PHEs.It requires examining how concentration, composition, and flow factors affect thermal performance.Key performance indicators of Coefficient of Performance (COP) (5.43),Heat Transfer Area (HTA) (1.92), Energetic Efficiency (EE) (41.7),Performance Index (PI) (225), and Thermal Performance (TP) (1.6) were compared with suggested Al2O3-MgO with other fluid composites. The findings show that the Al2O3-MgO nano fluid is a good choice for enhancing heat exchangers' thermal performance. The studies could concentrate on examining the economic viability and long-term stability of employing hybrid nano fluids in industrial settings.
