IMPACT OF ENERGY EFFICIENT GREEN DATA CENTERS: STRUCTURES AND METHODOLOGIES SYSTEMATICREVIEW
The increasing demand for digital services has led to a significant rise in energy consumption and carbon emissions from data centers. This systematic review explores the multifaceted impacts of energy-efficient green data centers, focusing on energy use, lifecycle impacts, sustainable information and communication technology (ICT), sustainable energy, and sustainable cooling solutions. By synthesizing current literature, the paper identifies key strategies and methodologies that can reduce the environmental footprint of data centers while maintaining operational efficiency. The review highlights the importance of integrating renewable energy sources, optimizing cooling technologies, and implementing robust energy management practices to achieve sustainability goals. Additionally, it emphasizes the necessity of collaborative efforts among stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that will facilitate the transition toward greener data center operations.
