DEVELOPMENT OF THE SCOR MODEL IN THE EFFICIENCY OF AGROINDUSTRY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: CASESTUDY OF THE AGROINDUSTRY LYOPHILIZER COMPANY, AREQUIPA
This study implements the SCOR Model (Supply Chain Operations Reference) to optimize inventory management in a freeze-drying agro-industrial company in Arequipa, Peru.Using a methodological approach based on the SCOR questionnaire, an analysis of key supply chain macro processes such as planning, sourcing, and return was conducted, identifying inefficiencies that required intervention.Specific inventory policies were applied, significantly reducing stockouts and optimizing inventory levels, which decreased storage costs and improved operational efficiency. The results demonstrate that implementing the SCOR Model is viable and an effective tool to enhance the competitiveness of the agro-industrial supply chain.
