IMPLEMENTATION OF FUZZY LOGIC SYSTEMS FOR SENSOR FUSION AND DATA INTERPRETATION
A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is made up of many sensor nodes that will sometimes restrict the battery life and the transmission range. But it has the capacity of sensing many modes. WSN plays a crucial role in Environmental surveillance. This current work discusses various multi-sensor data fusion approaches in WSN for cross domain applications, using fuzzy logic. It is observed that many approaches employ such as temperature, humidity, light, and Carbon Monoxide. By using various types of sensors, further data on the environmental factors can be gathered and processed. This work also provided focus on data fusion. It is a technique in which many sets of data is combined to enhance the dependability and precision of the detected information, resulting in a reduction in false alarms.
