ANALYSIS OF MYOPIA RISK FACTORS BY MACHINE LEARNING: APPLICATIONS ANDIMPLICATIONS
Myopia, or near vision, is an increasingly common eye condition worldwide, particularly in East and Southeast Asia. This condition prevents individuals from seeing distant objects clearly, leading to functional and health impairments that can severely impact their quality of life.Given the importance of clear vision for comfort and success, it is crucial to explore innovative solutions for managing the risks associated with myopia.Machine learning, a branch of artificial intelligence, offers promising prospects for predicting, preventing, and managing this condition.Machine learning can play a key role in the early detection of myopia by analyzing large patient datasets.Predictive models can be developed using demographic, genetic, and environmental data to identify at-risk individuals before symptoms appear. For example, by analyzing reading habits, screen use, and family history, machine learning algorithms can identify children at high risk of developing myopia, enabling early intervention.
