Differential impact of COVID-19 prevention and control measures on physical activity and mental health of junior high school students at different learning stages
The impact of COVID-19 on the MH of middle school students varied across learning stages, the adverse effects of epidemic prevention and control on PAL and MH in senior high school students are greater than those in junior high school students, with younger age being a protective factor for both MH and PA. These findings highlight the importance of addressing the combined effects of learning pressures and the COVID-19 outbreak on the MH of Chinese adolescents.
