Five undescribed 1,3-diphenylpropanes from the leaves of Broussonetia papyrifera
Five undescribed 1,3-diphenylpropanes (1–5) and ten known analogues (6–15) were isolated from the leaves of Broussonetia papyrifera. Their structures were established through comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data, including HRESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR. Among them, the known compounds 7–8, 11–13, and 15 were discovered in plants of this genus for the first time. • Five undescribed 1,3-diphenylpropanes were isolated from Broussonetia papyrifera , namely Broussones A-E. • The structures were determined by NMR, HRESIMS, UV and IR. • Compounds 7–8, 11–13 and 15 were discovered in the genus Broussonetia for the first time.
