Yangınların Söndürülmesinde Kullanılacak Döner Kanat İHA Tasarımı ve Analizi
This study aims to develop a model of aerosol fire suppression unit assembled to a quadcopter to protect the life of inhabitants and rescue workers and stop forest fires more quicky. In the field, unmanned aerial vehicles are mainly used for rescue missions, military and research purposes. Amongst unmanned aerial vehicles, quadcopters have distinct features such as carrying more load, covering more areas and flying more distance compared to previous types of aerial vehicles. Taking these distinct features into consideration, a prototype quadcopter with an aerosol fire suppression unit is designed and developed. It is experienced that the mass and weight of the attached unit, the total range and duration of the quadcopter are the main limitations in design and developmental stages. Upon designing the prototype, a plain quadcopter and a fire suppression unit equipped one are compared, contrasted and tested in terms of applicability and endurance. The system performance is also tested against air pressure, gravity, friction, total kinetic energy and wave function in an event of a possible forest fire.
