A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF OPTIMISING MACHINE REPAIR SYSTEMS WITH STANDBY SWITCHING FAILURE

The abstract of the study includes a discussion of the examination of measurements regarding performance as well as optimisation analysis of machine mending systems that have a malfunction in their standby switching. This discussion is included in the abstract. The study is based on the premise that the amount of time that passes between failures follows an exponential distribution, and that the amount of time that is required to repair machines that have failed corresponds to a generic distribution pattern.A probabilistic global search is used by the authors in order to conduct an analysis of the behaviour of the system, as well as in order to ascertain the ideal number of standbys and the optimum pace of repair, with the goal of minimising the anticipated cost per unit of time.Heuristic technique and sensitivity analysis are also included.
