Názvy českých železničních stanic a zastávek s tzv. rozlišením

The goal of the paper is to thoroughly map the current names of Czech railway stations and stops with the so-called distinguishing part. These names consist of a part for place name (e.g., Praha), which refers to the municipality where the station or stop lies or is intended to serve for, and, in such cases, of the so-called distinguishing part (e.g., Praha-Vršovice, Loučovice zastávka). The paper first describes these names from the perspective of part for place name (Section 2) and then from the perspective of the distinguishing part (Section 3). Against this background, it points out some inconsistencies in the set of current names (Section 4). The description aims at the current state, and the main text only works with the names of stations and stops included in the Alphabetical list of the station and stops from the 2024 Czech railway timetable, but brief historical excursions into the names are made in the footnotes with this starting point.
