The article reveals the main noise characteristics of traffic flows. The main methods for calculating the equivalent noise level generated by traffic flow are presented. The analysis of computational methods for determining noise from traffic flows for use in assessing traffic management measures has been carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of the current methods are revealed
