CONCEPTUAL ASPECTS REGARDING THE STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OF BEACH AREAS: CASE STUDY FOR THE BLACK SEA COAST

The results of the study on the identification of promising directions for the strategic development of beach areas based on the improvement of the economic tools for managing their natural and other assets on the example of the Black Sea coast in the Greater Odesa area are presented in this paper. The main conceptual aspects formed in this paper are aimed at achieving sustainable development of coastal regions. This will ensure a balance between economic needs, preservation of natural assets and improvement of the quality of life of local communities. The main aspects of the economic value of natural and recreational zoning of beach areas have been formed, which will contribute to increasing the rational use of these areas, maximizing profits from tourism, positive impact on the health and well-being of the local population, and preservation of natural assets for future generations. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that today there is a strategic need to create measures and models to determine the possibilities of redistribution of the tourist flow. This is crucial for the sustainable development of tourism in the region. In general, the formed strategic approach, which includes effective planning, the use of economic mechanisms and investments, will become the basis for the sustainable and prosperous development of the beach areas of the coastal regions and Ukraine as a whole.
