Heterostructure engineering of rod-like Bi 2 S 3 /Bi 2 Se 3 composites for high-sensitivity direct X-ray detection with ultra-low detection limits

Bi 2 S 3 /Bi 2 Se 3 composites with tunable S/Se ratios and clustered nanorod assembly morphology were prepared. The Bi 2 S 3 -8% Se detector showed a high sensitivity and an ultralow detection limit as heterostructures enhance charge separation and transport.

Abstract

Bi 2 S 3 /Bi 2 Se 3 composites with tunable S/Se ratios and clustered nanorod assembly morphology were prepared. The Bi 2 S 3 -8% Se detector showed a high sensitivity and an ultralow detection limit as heterostructures enhance charge separation and transport.
