Intelligent fatigue monitoring and intervention system based on sports biomechanics and psychological fatigue of vocational college students

With the rapid development of higher vocational education, students are facing increasing pressure from study and employment. The problem of physical and mental fatigue are becoming increasingly prominent and seriously affects the learning efficiency and quality of life. To address the problems of poor real-time performance and low accuracy of existing student fatigue monitoring and intervention methods, this study proposes an intelligent fatigue monitoring and intervention system based on the exercise biomechanics and mental fatigue of vocational college students. The method captures students' exercise fatigue characteristics through a static optimization algorithm with exercise biomechanics, and then monitors mental fatigue using physiological signals and domain generalization techniques. It also improves the accuracy of mental fatigue monitoring by extracting the temporal and spatial characteristics of electroencephalographic signals. The experimental results indicated that the proposed model outperformed the existing mainstream models in terms of muscle force and maximum voluntary contraction, and the muscle force reached 67 N, which was significantly greater than other models. In terms of mental fatigue monitoring, the accuracy of the proposed method on the two datasets was 94.05% and 91.20%, and the F1 scores were 91.56% and 87.24%, respectively. The average monitoring accuracy of the proposed system reaches 93.78%, which is superior to other fatigue monitoring systems. In the comparative experiment between the system and non-system conditions, the use of this system improved the students’ task completion accuracy by 7.32% and shortened the task completion time by 22.83%. The results reveal that the proposed intelligent fatigue monitoring and intervention system can monitor students fatigue status in real time and provides a new technological tool for the health management of vocational college students.
