Analysis of Ensuring Operational Characteristics of Hydraulic Cylinder Liners

Performance characteristics of hydraulic cylinder liners, such as wear resistance and adhesion strength, determine their durability. The article considers the problems of wear of internal surfaces of hydraulic cylinder liners, which are key elements of hydraulic drives in various industries. The main types of wear, such as abrasive, adhesion, seizure and corrosion-mechanical, are analyzed. Causes of wear of the inner surface of the hydraulic cylinder liner are established. The analysis of existing methods of restoration, including boring for repair size, chrome plating, iron plating, placing removable steel plates, heat shrinkage, spraying of coatings is carried out. As a promising solution the method of gas-dynamic spraying of coatings is proposed, which allows to apply wear-resistant coatings on the inner surfaces of cylindrical parts without significant thermal influence. The advantages of this method and the prospects for further research aimed at optimizing the technological parameters and expanding the scope of its application for the restoration of hydraulic cylinder liners are outlined
