Design and implementation of advanced secure and efficient mining rover

This work focuses on designing and developing an autonomous mining rover that is suitable for terrestrial applications in distant and dangerous environments.Mining rovers are robotic vehicles meant to gather minerals, ores, and other important resources from the earth and other difficult-to-access locations such as extreme celestial planets. These robots were designed to work in hazardous environments where human presence is either unsafe or unfeasible. These rovers are often outfitted with advanced sensors, a navigation system, and specialized tools, allowing them to operate autonomously or semi-autonomously in difficult environments. These robots increase efficiency, safety, and precision in modern mining operations. The mining business faces considerable obstacles, such as hazardous working conditions, frequent equipment malfunctions, and the need for efficient resource management. This study investigates the limitations of traditional monitoring methods and considers the promise of modern technologies such as real-time data analytics.Predictive maintenance and automation help to increase safety, reduce downtime, and maximize resource use.The integration of these technologies can improve the overall efficiency of mining operations while limiting dangers and providing a safer working environment for miners.Current monitoring mechanisms are frequently insufficient, leading to increased dangers. As technology advances, robotics are increasingly being deployed in space and on Earth. This study emphasizes the potential of autonomous rovers to transform surface and underground mining operations by increasing productivity, operational safety, and environmental sustainability. This innovative approach helps to develop robotic automation in the mining industry and prepares for future off-world resource extraction missions.
