CRIME OUT OF JEALOUSY AND MENTAL HEALTH: PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES
Crimes committed out of jealousy reflect the complexity of human psychology and issues with emotional regulation. These crimes are often linked to personality disorders, traumatic experiences, and impulsive behavior. Pathological jealousy, paranoid thoughts, and low self-esteem can drive individuals toward violent actions. Research indicates that childhood traumas and social pressures also play a significant role in these cases. Preventing such crimes requires psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation programs. Additionally, raising public awareness and early detection of risky situations are crucial. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the psychological and social aspects of such crimes. Keywords: Jealousy, mental health, pathological jealousy, impulsive behavior, traumatic experiences, paranoid thinking
