<i> H ∞ </i> bumpless transfer control for switched delayed systems with mode-dependent persistent dwell time

The exponential stability with H ∞ bumpless transfer performance for switched delayed systems is investigated in this paper. To better characterize the features of fast and slow switching, a more general mode-dependent persistent dwell time method is adopted, splitting each switching phase into two portions, which reduces design conservatism and enhances the response speed of systems. Based on specific switching paths, a transition-dependent controller is designed to guarantee stability and bumpless transfer performance, which more comprehensively considers the dynamic variations caused by switching. Furthermore, sufficient conditions for the closed-loop systems with H ∞ bumpless transfer performance are derived via both the switching rule and the transition-dependent controller. Finally, two examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
