Technologies for Restoring Worn Parts of Pumping Systems

The article is devoted to the analysis of the operational characteristics and wear resistance of soil pumps used for pumping hydraulic mixtures consisting of solid particles and liquid. It discusses the main technical requirements for pumping systems, including the strength and density of joints, as well as the need to ensure wear resistance of parts in conditions of intense waterjet wear. The factors affecting the reliability of pumps, such as the speed of rotation of the impeller, which causes dynamic loads and imbalances due to uneven wear of components, are discussed in detail. The article emphasizes the importance of optimizing the design of pumps, taking into account the increased channel sizes and wall thickness to increase their durability. Special attention is paid to measures aimed at reducing wear on the sealing surfaces of stuffing boxes, including the supply of flushing water to increase service life. The groups of parts that are most susceptible to wear are also highlighted, which makes it possible to identify priority areas for restoration and repair. Visual materials such as drawings complement the text and contribute to a better understanding of the wear process. The article is a valuable resource for engineers and pump system maintenance specialists seeking to improve performance and extend pump life under aggressive operating conditions
