Czy przemoc seksualna ma rodzaj? Kilka uwag literaturoznawczych

Does Sexual Violence Have a Gender? A Few Literary Studies Remarks This article analyzes the connection between the rhetoric of sexual violence and the category of gender. It highlights how gender also involves genealogical topics, asserting that the chosen text form significantly influences how these issues are presented. Another key theme is the gendering of narratives about sexual violence, with the author noting observable differences between “masculine” and “feminine” perspectives on the subject – although these distinctions should be approached with critical caution. The article examines different aspects of silence around sexual abuse and stresses the need for an intersectional approach to this problem. It references works by Marlon James, Dahlia de la Cerda, Inga Iwasiów, Andrzej Stasiuk, and Martyna Bunda. The literature discussed includes contributions from the humanities, such as literary studies, as well as sociological research on sexual violence. The author integrates a poetological analysis of the narrative with insights from social and cultural contexts. Keywords: sexual violence, rhetoric, gender, literary genre, femininity, masculinity, narrative
