Hidden Markets in the Short-Term Rental Boom: A Case Study of Investment and Property Service Operations

In this research, we develop a series of propositions for future research based on a live case. The focus of the paper is the opportunities for complementary industries, such as, maintenance and janitorial services, created by Airbnb and Vrbo type apps.
