The spray method of reinforcing and functionalising additive application to the production of hygienic paper towels

The testing and results of an effectiveness analysis of certain methods allowing for spray reinforcing and functionalising additive application to the industrial process of paper hand towel production are presented. The reinforcing additives based on cellulose waste, used in our research, originate from recycled industrial waste from toilet paper production. 3 alternative conceptual solutions were created, allowing for the application of reinforcing and functionalising additives onto a base paper web. Some introductory analyses with the use of a laboratory model system and an industrial line were conducted in order to verify the concept of application. As part of the research, some concepts of a spraying system were verified and a solution with the best technical and financial qualities allowing for industrial application was identified.
