Reconstrucción con láser de CO₂ en dehiscencia post-labioplastia en cuña: reporte de caso
Labiaplasty is one of the most in-demand procedures in gyneco-aesthetics, accounting for approximately 10% to 20% of female genital cosmetic surgeries. This report presents the case of a 32-year-old woman who underwent labiaplasty in a healthcare facility using a cold scalpel and electrocautery. Five days later, she developed complete wound dehiscence and, despite a new suture, healing failed. Subsequently, a third surgery was proposed but never performed. The patient presented to our center with persistent pain, functional alterations, aesthetic sequelae, and a significant emotional impact. Clinical examination revealed irregular edges, scar fibrosis, and vulvar asymmetry. A reconstruction using a linear technique assisted by CO₂ laser was chosen, prioritizing precision, anatomical harmony, and thermal control. Recovery was satisfactory, with restoration of aesthetics, function, and emotional well-being. This case highlights the importance of proper surgical technique selection and the value of CO₂ laser in complex complications
