خور عبد الله نموذج :لاشكاليات المياه الاقليمية العراقية وجغرافيتها السياسية
This research generally addresses the territorial waters of the Iraqi coast, including their concept, limits, and measurement methods. It specifically examines the Khor Abdullah agreement between Iraq and Kuwait, the nature of relations between the two countries following the maritime border demarcation, and the provisions of the agreement concerning this waterway. Khor Abdullah is considered Iraq's maritime lung for connecting with the rest of the world by sea, making it a crucial strategic passage through which Iraq overlooks the Arabian Gulf. The Khor agreement established joint administration between Iraq and Kuwait, alongside certain decisions that have sparked internal debate in Iraq due to their direct link to Iraq's sovereignty and economic interests.
