Russian humanities as a tool of confirming the ideology of racism in the conditions of the so-called “SVO”
The purpose of the article is to analyze the research, published by representatives of various sectors of the “scientific humanities” of the Russian Federation during 2022–2023. That confirms their complete politicization and focus on establishing the ideology of «racism» in the intellectual space of the Russian Federation. Scientific novelty. One of the important tasks in confronting the ideology of «racism» should be the scientific debunking of the latest historical myths invented by Russian propaganda and the Kremlin’s historical policy, since they are aimed at removing Ukrainians, their national identity and culture from historical reality. For this Russia uses various manipulative information technologies, including the “humanitarian scientific community”, which is assigned the mission of substantiating the “scientificity” of “racism”. The “humanities” of the aggressor country Russian Federation, are mythologizing the “SVO” and affirming racism, they do not try to provide any scientific evidence for this. Instead, they continue to remain blind and submissive to the will and fantasies of the Kremlin dictator, while simultaneously remaining within the framework of the ideology of “racism” and forming its basic mythologies. Conclusions. It is not difficult to see that the entire so-called “Russian humanitarian studies” as part of the ideology of “racism” is an anti-scientific phenomenon that should serve the genocidal policy and propaganda of the Kremlin. Trying to justify the aggressive war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Russian “humanities”, turning to the topic of the so-called “SVO”, emphasizing their innocence, in fact only continue to form constructive guidelines for the ideological shell of racism. Russian “humanities” are characterized mainly by a discourse of hatred, in which there is no place for searching for truth, but a tendency towards neo-imperial arrogance, chauvinism, resentment, intolerance, and superiority towards all “others”, but especially towards Ukrainians. It was from the beginning of the aggressive attack on Ukraine in 2022 that the amorphous system of racist views quickly turned into the state ideology of Russia, which is trying to turn itself into an empire again.
