DETERMINATION BY EXPERT METHOD OF FACTORS INFLUENCING THE FUNCTIONAL STATE OF A DRIVER

The paper considers the significance of the driver's functional state in the context of his activity. The relationship between functional state, performance level and fatigue is analysed. The results of driv-ers' questionnaires concerning the assessment of the influence of various factors on their functional state are presented. The potential impact of unfavourable environmental factors on drivers, including the negative effects of certain toxic substances contained in exhaust gases of internal combustion en-gines on human health, which in turn may increase the probability of road accidents, is also de-scribed.
