Beyond convenience: How design, ease-of-use, and self-efficacy shape guest experiences in Smart Hotel rooms
In the era of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), smart technologies have become essential for enhancing operational efficiency across multiple sectors. Despite widespread adoption of smart technologies and AI in various industries, many hotel rooms still rely on traditional systems as there is still a lack of comprehensive understanding of how these technologies impact guest experience. This study bridges this gap by systematically evaluating guest interactions with smart hotel room technologies, including perceptions, satisfaction, cognitive load, etc., thus providing valuable insights for the hospitality industry.
