Relacje chrześcijańsko-muzułmańskie w Egipcie na przestrzeni wieków
This article is devoted to Christian-Muslim relations in Egypt, which have been marked by long periods of confrontation over the centuries. However, there have been times in their history when there was no conflict and then they lived in a relatively happy coexistence and interfaith harmony. Unfortunately, in Egypt, where both Christianity and Islam exist, a number of crimes with religious overtones are taking place. Today, almost 90% of the society in this country has been taken over by Muslims. The remaining 10%, the Copts, despite many years of persecution of murder of their brethren, are still the strongest Christian community in the Middle East, which did not surrender to the Muslims, creating a cohesive and ready to fight community.
