Research Strategies for Age-Friendly Museum Exhibition Navigation Systems
With the world entering an aging society, the cultural needs of the elderly are becoming increasingly important. Museums, as key platforms for public cultural services, face the challenge of adapting to these needs by providing age-friendly services. This paper explores the physiological and psychological characteristics of elderly visitors, examines the shortcomings of current museum navigation systems, and proposes age-friendly design strategies that focus on accessibility, ease of operation, and personalized experiences.
