Bio-efficacy of some promising insecticides and botanical against sucking insect pests in mung bean
AbstractThe study demonstrated that all insecticidal treatments significantly reduced the populations of whitefly, jassid, and thrips in mung bean compared to the untreated check. Among the tested insecticides, thiamethoxam 25 WG consistently proved to be the most effective treatment, recording the lowest pest populations followed by acephate 75 SP, imidacloprid 70 WG, and diafenthiuron 50 WP. Neem oil 5% was the least effective treatment but was still significantly superior to the untreated control.
