Methodology for using collage and associative visual maps in interior design projects

Тhe authors present an optimal methodology for training interior designers. This method has been traced to the work of other design theorists and practitioners, such as Johannes Itten in his monograph The Art of Form, as well as to materials from the International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education held in Germany in 2020. The strengths and weaknesses are discussed, along with the significance of working with this method at the present time. The key stages of the method are presented, and a detailed description is provided of the work phases using this methodology with students. The advantages of the methodology in the educational process were analyzed with a group of third-year students in the "Architectural Environment Design" program, as part of an assignment in the course "Formation of Interior Coloristics".
