Motivational mechanisms for choosing agricultural specialties: analysis and recommendations based on the experience of agricultural classes of the Timiryazev Russian State Agrarian University-Moscow Agricultural Academy
The article examines the motivational mechanisms for choosing agricultural specialties among schoolchildren using the example of agricultural classes organized jointly with the Timiryazev Academy. The key factors influencing the professional self-determination of students, socio-economic conditions, educational programs and personal attitudes are analyzed. Based on empirical data (questionnaires, interviews, analysis of academic performance), the most effective methods of career guidance that contribute to an informed choice of agricultural education are identified. Particular attention is paid to the role of practice-oriented training, interaction with employers and the popularization of modern technologies. The study provides recommendations for improving career guidance work with schools in agricultural universities, aimed at increasing the prestige of agricultural specialties and attracting motivated applicants. The findings can be used in developing educational strategies, grant programs and government initiatives in the field of training personnel for the agro-industrial complex.
