Investment resources are the main factor in ensuring the development of agriculture in accordance with the adopted relevant strategies. Providing the agricultural sector with fixed capital and improving its structure in accordance with the requirements of sustainable development are related to the efficient use of opportunities for attracting investment resources from all main sources. The article examines the approaches to the composition of investment resources in agriculture and its role in the formation of fixed capital, and in this regard, the specific features of the agricultural sector are shown. At the same time, the issues of the formation of investment resources directed to fixed capital in the Azerbaijani agriculture by sources are analyzed. Relevant assessments are made to ensure the continuous growth of investment resources in the agricultural sector.
