EFFECT OF UNTREATED SEWAGE WATER ON SOIL REACTIVITY AND PHYSIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS IN SRI GANGANAGAR MUNICIPAL AREAS
Dumping of the waste is a Global Problem. As today's technology progresses, the natural environment suffers from the detrimental effects of pollution. The natural process of transportation of metal ions between soil and water consolidates metalcontamination, inhighconcentrations, thataffecttheareasofnaturalecosystems.Thegrowthofhumanpopulationand rapidindustrializationledtoincreasinguseofurbanwatersas sewers.Severalattemptshavebeenmadetoregulate/control thequalityofeffluents that aredischargedfromwastegeneratingindustries intoourwater systems.Today, mosturbanareas of the developing world remain inadequately served by sewage treatment infrastructure. Untreated waste poses serious threats to associated environment including human health risks.A study on untreated sewage water on soil reactivity and physiochemicalparameters inSriGanganagarMunicipalareaswasconductedonthesoil.
